Network Marketing Today Moulds You Into An Entreprenuer – Robert Kiyokaki’s Principle

Thousands of people join the network marketing business opportunity for a second income. Besides the main full-time job during the day, many treat their network marketing business as a part-time job work from home or even a small home based business opportunity.

Unless you find a way through this unique opportunity to work part time on your fortune with a full time mentality, then only will you see the magic of a change in lifestyle. If you were to treat network marketing as a hobby and not a legitimate home based business opportunity, success will not be within reach. It is not something to do only when it is convenient. You must have the mindset of a businessman and an entrepreneur. Do not think that network marketing today is just a small home based business that will not bring you financial freedom.

As Robert Kiyosaki puts it, network marketing is the perfect training ground that will mould you into becoming an entrepreneur or a business person.

Treat network marketing or mlm as a business. To start an mlm business, think of ways to make it work. Plan, organize, manage and strategize to grow your small home based business. If you want to get paid, you need to produce results just as in any business. Be willing to think as a business person. You are the one who needs to make the decisions now.

Things start to change when you start making decisions. Simple decisions include what time to wake up, have your meals and meet prospects. More complex decisions include which of your downlines deserve your time and which to spend time with to coach into being as good as you or what sort of recognition should you have for your best recruiting downline.

Get away from the mindset of an employee. An employee prefers not to think and leaves the thinking to top management. An employee prefers to just ‘do the job’. An employee sells their time for money. They go to work just to get a monthly salary. Sometimes, the employee may not be doing anything and yet continues to receive a monthly salary.

However if you continue to have an employees’ mentality whilst conducting your network marketing business, you will not see results. When there are no results, there will be no commissions. Just printing your name cards, compiling your name list and arranging your product brochures will not bring you success. Even attending opportunity meetings and various self development seminars will not be of any help if there is no action taken.

You need to spend you time productively. What would an entrepreneur do to ensure his business succeeds? Putting yourself in the shoes of an entrepreneur, you must think like one as well. Working closely with your downlines will allow you to appraise them and see who deserves your time to be trained and coached and given the basic knowledge required. You need to continuously prospect and share your products with others. T his means you need to make appointments to meet people.

Ultimately, if a network marketer continues with the mindset of an employee and fails to recognize that he needs to think and act like an entrepreneur, he will not be able to see his dreams and desires materialize unless he has a paradigm shift.
